Prophecy looks forward to Revelation 6

Revelation 6 explained: This is a key passage to knowing what happens next!

A leader comes as a peacemaker who is intent on conquering Israel. The conflict starts small with the second seal, it grows to encompass a fourth of the earth in the fourth seal. The sixth seal culminates to include a worldwide conflict when it says, "5 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains."

The sixth seal is about Israel's response to the conflicts of the second and fourth seal. During the first five seals, Israel is suffering having a limited response.  Israel finally has enough and comes out strong against the powers that are persecuting them.  The entire world becomes involved in the conflict in some way. The intent of the world is to destroy the Jewish witness of God's Kingdom (noted in fifth seal) that true Israel is a witness to.

The sixth seal is very important.  The seal begins with an earthquake which I believe to be literal and symbolic. The earthquake will shake the earth; but, it also is a picture of God's wrath reminding us of how God opened up the earth to swallow Korah and his followers because of their rebellion against God.

The sun then becomes black as sackcloth. I believe this is literal in that it will look black. The sun is also a picture of Israel in Scripture who is intent on the death of those who harm Israel. The sun was a picture of Jacob, whose name was later changed to Israel, in Joseph's dream. The text contrast this with the world in the sixth seal showing that Israel is in conflict with the world. The text is telling us that Israel is the cause of the death and mourning in the world most likely to defend itself.

The moon is red like blood. I do believe that the moon will appear to be red. Symbolically, the moon is a picture of the Jewish leaders.  The leaders of Israel are intent on killing those who are harming them.

The stars fall like figs is a picture of the Jews who die in the conflict. I believe this is literal in that it will appear to us that stars are falling from the sky (most likely missiles or something of that nature).  Symbolically, the falling stars speak of Jews who are dying in the cause.  

Every mountain and island is moved which I believe will be the case literally. The nature of the conflict will shake the earth. The mountain and islands can also be seen symbolically to include all large nations and small nations which are affected by the conflict.

After this huge conflict,  the feeling of death and despair comes over the entire world. The text says, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb". 

The world recognizes that God is with Israel and that the wrath of God is being poured out on the earth.

The Real Meaning of the Gay Flag

While it may be a shock to some, the gay flag is one of the flags that the anti-Christ will hold when he comes.  The true meaning of the flag is hidden behind the false label of diversity.  The gay flag is really announcing the coming of the anti-Christ.  Consider this: 

The gay flag has six colors which is the number of man. The rainbow created by God has seven colors which is the number for God.

In Ezekiel 1:26-28, the colors of the rainbow are compared to the glory of God. In Revelation, the Apostle John also compares the rainbow colors to the glory of God.

The gay rainbow flag becomes a picture for Satan who seeks the glory for himself. The gay flag intentionally has six colors reflecting Satan's desire for God's glory.  

The only person who would carry that type of flag is the anti-Christ.  As a result, the gay flag is in reality announcing the coming of the anti-Christ .

Ezekiel 1:26-28
28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.  This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Rev 4:3

And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.

Dark Days Lie Ahead but there is Hope!

Our world has turned upside down very quickly and Christians suddenly find themselves being called enemies of the state all over the world including here in America. 

Sodom and Gomorrah is returning to the streets of America to flout their immorality before God. Rest assured that the true church of Jesus will be raptured prior to the wrath of God. Just take a look at what Luke said...

""It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all." - Luke 17.   

I am reminded of the words of Jesus in John 16 who said, "In this word you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world."

The Iranian Deal with America is Hostile to Israel

As it relates to prophecy, we know that peace is an illusion in Revelation 6 because the white horse is intent on conquering Israel. The illusion of peace eventually turns into conflict resulting in the death of many in Israel. 

Revelation 6 states, Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!"  And I looked and behold, a white horse!  And its rider had a bow, a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.  When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!"  And out came another horse, bright red.  Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword."

The illusion of peace has certainly been obtained in this deal and Iran is still intent on destroying Israel. The deal makes it IMPOSSIBLE for Israel to attack Iran without turning the world against them. Obama has stopped Israel from taking Iran out while Iran effectively continues to build the bomb.

Now, that is something to think about because the world government eventually turns against Israel completely so this deal sets the stage.

Is the conflict in Ukraine the beginning of WWIII?

The conflict in the Ukraine has all the making of the beginning of WWIII; however, a close examination of the geopolitical situation may change your mind.  While it is true that the West has made commitments to Ukraine for its defense and Russia has made commitments to the Russian friendly government that preceded the coup, Ukraine will split resulting in the birth of a new independent country by the pro-Russian forces inside Ukraine.  If the people in the country are the cause of their own independence, then the U.S. as well as Russia would not be called upon to act evading a major conflict.

The situation in Ukraine is different than the one in Crimea.  Most of the citizens in Eastern Ukraine would prefer to establish their own independence and dump the Western friendly government in Kiev.  Putin understood Crimea and saw an opportunity to bring the Russian family back to the fold as evidenced by the 95% vote to rejoin Russia; however, in Eastern Ukraine, the Russians who want to be reunited with Russia are in the minority.

Putin is arguing that a military situation will not bring peace; rather, he is seeking a diplomatic solution.  The ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine are upset about the coup that shifted power from the Eastern (Russian) part of the country to the Western friendly part.  The Eastern Russians see the coup that resulted in a power change in Kiev as a hostile act and one they are not willing to accept.  Russia's military build up on the border was meant to discourage Ukraine from attempting to come into Crimea; however, the Russians in the Ukraine see it as an opportunity to split Ukraine in two and set up their own independent state.

Based on all the news reports, it appears there is a lot of propaganda.  The West is blowing the story out of proportion.  The arguments made by Putin appear to be reasonable in my opinion.  If Putin does have imperialist ambitions, we will see that shortly; however, I suspect that Putin has no desire for people to join Russia who don't want to be a part of Russia.  They are seeking to establish a culture rooted in Christianity and family by using the power of government to protect their culture from the immorality and emptiness of the West.

Rogers: 'Catastrophe' Coming, Thanks to Central Banks

Aggressive easing programs by central banks around the world will create a financial catastrophe, says legendary investor Jim Rogers, chairman of Rogers Holdings.

"This is the first time in recorded history that we have every major central bank in the world printing money, so the world is floating on an artificial sea of liquidity," Rogers told CNBC.com.

"Well, the artificial sea is going to disappear someday. And when it does, the catastrophe will be even worse. Yes, it's coming."

The Russian Empire Expands

Russian President Vladimir Putin says a military base on the Novosibirsk Islands in the Arctic Ocean will restart operations soon.  The Russians had closed their military base in the Arctic back in 1993.

International law forbids any one nation from claiming the Arctic; however, the natural resources in that area include oil, natural gas, diamonds and gold.

The expansion is interesting considering that Russia is once again reasserting itself in the world as a global power.

A number of countries share their border with the Arctic including Russia, Finland, U.S. (Alaska), Canada, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland. 

The Russians sent 10 warships to reopen the military base claiming that they are hoping to reopen the Northern sea route; however, experts are advising that this is a very unlikely scenario due to the ice and narrow passage ways.   

A logical explanation for the expansion is the natural resources that are believed to be in the Arctic.  The natural resources may be the cause of Russian advancement in the area. 

The other explanation is that the Arctic position would give it a strategic position to threaten the Northern Hemisphere in the case of war.
